Just saw a movie tonight, and in the last scene the two protagonists (who died in the movie) walk away hand in hand, with an aura surrounding them. Sometimes, I hear from people who would not identify themselves as Christian, that their recently deceased parents "are together in a better place now."

This may seem like harmless sentimentality, but instead is the worst sort of deception.
